Question banks are sets of questions you can use across multiple assessments. For example, for a cumulative final exam, you can use the questions created for an entire semester worth of quizzes and implement them all at once for the cumulative final exam.

How to Generate Test Question Banks using the AI-Design Assistant 

1. Go to the Question Banks located under the Details & Actions section on the course content page.
2. Select the Plus sign in the middle of the page. A drop down menu will appear. 
3. Select Generate question bank. . You have several ways to define the questions that the AI Design Assistant generates.
4. Enter a description (limited to 2,000 characters) to narrow the focus of the questions.
5. Adjust the complexity of the questions and select the number of questions.
6. ​​​​Select the arrow beside Advanced Options to change the output language. You can select from the following question types: (Essay, Fill in the blank, Matching, Multiple Choice, True/ False).
7. The "Inspire me!" question type suggests a variety of question types to give you more options.
