New Hire Cybersecurity training program applies to any newly hired SHU employee.  Employees will be automatically enrolled in the training and will need to complete the training within 4 weeks of enrollment.

Note: if you have credentials for KnowBe4 Platform from other institutions, please use an incognito browser.

How to Access New Hire Cybersecurity Training through MySHU Portal

1. Once the employee has access to their new SHU email account, they will see a training enrollment notification.  If you did not receive the notification email, please contact the Factory for assistance.
2. Go to myshu.sacredheart.edu, and access the MySHU portal.
3. Navigate to Information Technology section, and click on Cybersecurity Training.
4. You will be directed to the SHU KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training Platform.  Enter your email address and click Next.
5. You should be automatically directed to the training page.  If you did not, click the Training tab on the top menu inside the platform.
6. You will see the educational content.  Click the "Start" on each module to begin your training.

How to Access New Hire Cybersecurity Training through Dayforce

1. Go to myshu.sacredheart.edu, and access the MySHU portal.
2. Access Dayforce in the Quick Links section.
3. In Dayforce, select 'Onboarding' and then click on the Employee Checklist menu option.
4. Click the '>' symbol next to First Day
5. Navigate to Cybersecurity Training and click on the link.
6. You will be directed to the SHU KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training Platform.  Enter your email address and click Next.
7. You should be automatically directed to the training page.  If you did not, click the Training tab on the top menu inside the platform.
8. You will see the educational content.  Click the "Start" on each module to begin your training.
