Issue Description
Updates to Outlook Calendar invites are going directly to the Deleted Items Folder. This may cause users to miss important updates to meetings.
Resolution
An update to a setting will change this behavior.
For New Outlook:
- From the File menu, select the Settings item
- Click on the Calendar option on the left navigation and then the Events and invitations option on the right
- Scroll to the Invitations from other people section and uncheck the box near
- Click Save on the bottom right and restart Outlook for the change to take effect
For Old Outlook:
- From the File menu, select the Options item
- Click on the Mail option in the left navigation
- Scroll to the Tracking section
- Check the box near After updating tracking information, move receipt to: and change the folder to Inbox
- Click OK on the bottom right and restart Outlook for the change to take effect
