SHU Systems Updated with SHU ID Card Photos
Photos are available in user profiles for certain systems at SHU. Currently, the following systems automatically display the SHU ID Card photo:
- Blackboard - Class Photo Roster view (only viewed by the professor of the class)
- Colleague (student information and finance system)
- Office365 (TEAMS and Outlook)
- Persona (Public Safety Access)
- PNC (Student Health Services)
- PioConnect (Early intervention management for students)
- SPA (student advising and advising system)
- StarRez (residential life system)
- Transact (SHU ID Card)
SHU Systems Manually Updated with Photos
Other systems that display photos that are manually updated by the individual are:
- Blackboard (user profile, not class photo roster view)
- Dayforce
- Handshake
- Students can upload a photo to their profile
Initial Photos
New members of the SHU community should follow the steps below to populate photos for the systems listed above:
- Upload a photo in the Transact eAccounts system
- Once the photo is submitted, it will be routed appropriately for the approval process
- A confirmation email will be sent when it is approved
- Once the photo is approved, allow several days for systems to be updated with the photo
Updated Photos
When an updated photo is desired, follow these steps:
- Upload a new photo in the Transact system
- Use the link at the bottom of this page: Upload Your SHUCard Photo
- Login using SHU account and click on the profile in order to update your photo
- Once the new photo is submitted, it will be routed appropriately for the approval process
- A confirmation email will be sent when it is approved
- Once the new photo is approved, allow several days for the following systems to be updated with the new photo
- Blackboard Class Photo Roster only
- Blackboard profile photos must be updated directly by the user
- SHU ID Card (when a new card is printed, it will show the updated photo)
- SPA/Colleague
