Respondus Monitor is an integrated companion application to Respondus LockDown Browser, designed to further enhance the integrity and security of online exams in educational settings. It provides additional monitoring features, including webcam recording, to ensure that students are adhering to exam rules and guidelines. 

How to Access

Who is eligible?

Faculty must enable Respondus LockDown Browser on a Blackboard assessment in order for the advanced setting of enabling Respondus Monitor to appear. If enabled, students will be required to install the application to their device to complete their assessment(s). 

Where and how do I access it?

The Respondus LockDown Browser installer in the app catalog also includes the Respondus Monitor feature by default. It can be installed by all Sacred Heart University students. Faculty do not need Respondus Monitor installed to enable the feature on an assessment.
