Overview
The print lab is in the Main Academic Building of the Park Ave campus in HC-113. The print lab allows users to print documents, reports, assignments, research papers, and other academic materials. The location is equipped with three black and white printers, one color printer and 24 computer devices to print from. The hours of operation for the lab are 24/7. If you are unable to access the lab, please contact Public Safety.
How to Access
NOTE: the Print Lab will be closed for construction early September 2026. Where can you print? There is a printer outside the Print Lab (HC113), a printer within PioTech Center at Park Ave campus (next to Campus Concierge), and a couple printers at the Matura Library.
Other Printers:
Library: located on the Park Ave Campus, library hosts a couple printers and computers that can be used for your printing needs.
PioTech Center: a student printer is located on the first floor of Park Ave Campus within the PioTech Center.
CHE: a student printer is located on the first floor of CHE at the entrance to the cafeteria.
West Campus: a student printer is located in a break space between classrooms on the first floor of West Campus West Building.
Who is eligible?
Any active member of the SHU community with access to their SHU ID Card or SHU Mobile ID.
Where and how do I access it?
It is located in the HC wing of Main Campus, in room HC113. The room is available 24/7. Please call Public Safety to open the door if it is closed.
To print, you will need to send the printing job to SHU-Canon Papercut and then tap your SHU Card, or phone with SHU Mobile ID, at any SHU-Canon printer in the lab. Students need to have funds in their General fund to utilize the SHU-Canon printers. Staff/faculty have a Print MGMT fund on their SHU cards/SHU Mobile ID that is dedicated to SHU-Canon printers.
If you are utilizing a personal device, please download drivers from https://print.sacredheart.edu. Note: Apple laptop users with the latest MacOS updates will be prompted and guided to utilize AirPrint instead.
