By encrypting the data, it is transformed into an unreadable format, and it can only be accessed with the corresponding decryption key. This helps protect student records, research data, financial information, and other confidential data from unauthorized access.

Who is eligible?

All Sacred Heart issued laptops have the encryption software installed. When picking up the laptop, the laptop owner will be asked to login to finish the setup process.
