Description
Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop and connecting to eduroam.
How to Access
Who is eligible?
Any active member of the university with valid SHU credentials.
Where and how do I access it?
- When you are on a campus that provides Eduroam connection, open your network connections list in the tray (top on MacOS, bottom in Windows) or on your phone, navigate to Settings > Wi-fi.
- Select Eduroam
- Enter your SHU email and password
- Click connect
- Accept/trust certificate if prompted
