Assessment Question Type: Essay

Essay questions allow students to submit a written response to a question. Essay questions are not graded automatically. The Instructor will need to review the response submitted and provide a grade for the question.

1. Access the assessment you are adding the question to.
2. Select the + sign in the middle of the page and select Add Essay Question.
3. In the text box provided, enter the number of points the question is worth. 
4. In the text box provided, enter the question text.
5. Select save to save your question.
