How to Connect an Android Phone to Sacred Heart Network

This article will walk you through the process of connecting an Android phone to the Sacred Heart Wifi network. This process also applies to ChromeOS devices.

Connection Steps

  1. Tap on the Sacred Heart Wi-Fi network in your phone's Wi-Fi settings. A window containing an EAP Method, CA Certificate, Identity, and password should appear.
  2. Set the EAP Method to PEAP.
  3. Set the CA certificate to do not validate.
  4. Locate Phase 2 Authentication. Set the current option as MSCHAPV2. If Phase 2 Authentication is not present, you will find it under Advanced.
  5. Under identity, type in your SHU username. Anonymous identity can be left blank.
  6. Enter your password in the password field.

Additional Information

  • Some Android phones will be unable to connect to the Sacred Heart Wi-Fi Network
  • If you have to enter a domain, the domain is sacredheart.edu
