Description
Safeware insurance coverage varies based on the plan purchased, but the program is designed to provide coverage for electronic devices if something is damaged or has failed. The Safeware program extends the manufacturer warranty and provides accidental coverage including drops, liquid spills, cracked screens and more.
How to Access
Who is eligible?
A mobile device of the SHU student, staff or faculty: laptop, phone, tablet. At the time of purchase the device must be present and in good working condition, under one-year-old with proof of purchase.

Purchases of new cards are processed through CashNet, SHU commerce page. Client may use a debit/credit card to make the purchase. After paying for the card, client should stop by main campus service desk with the purchase receipt and the device to receive their new Safeware card. Service desk will assist with registering the card.
