MAT Motivation/Academic Attitude
UEX Unsatisfactory Exam Results
UAS Unsatisfactory Assignments

Procedure

  1. From the SPA Home page, select the Faculty link
  2. A list of courses assigned to the faculty logged into SPA will appear by term, select the course you want to apply warnings
  3. Click on the Grading tab
  4. Click on the applicable Warning tab.
    • Since there is a separate tab for each warning, if the student has multiple warnings, you will need to click the subsequent tab(s) to enter each additional warning for the student(s)
    • The warning codes appear in the Mid Grade/Warnings dropdown at the bottom of the list
  5. When you have completed entering your warning codes for the roster of students, select the Submit Academic Warnings/Midsemester Grades button.  When you do this, a message will display "Last submitted on <date>" indicating the date you submitted.
    • If you are submitting warnings, clicking the "Submit Academic Warnings/Midsemester Grades" button will not prevent you from entering and submitting midsemester grades or any additional warnings if needed

Note: Last Date of Attendance should not be submitted in Academic Warnings.  Last date of attendance only needs to be entered only when the final grade submitted for a student is F or I.
