How to Update De​partment Chairs in Faculty Table

Summary

Department Chairs change annually and need to be updated manually into Colleague's FCTY form. If you have a chair that needs to be changed log into Colleague and remove the code from the former department chair and add to the new department chair.

Body

  • ​Log into Colleague
  • Go to FCTY​​
  • Enter the Faculty name or ID in the Faculty Lookup prompt

How to Add Department Chair

  1. Make sure the department code associated with the person on this form is correct
  2. Click the drop down arrow in the Special Status field and choose DC
  3. Click on SAVE to save out of the form
  4. Click on UPDATE to confirm​

How to Remove Department Chair

  1. Click on the Special Status field
  2. Press CTRL+ALT+D and the field should clear out
  3. Click on SAVE to save out of the form
  4. Click on UPDATE to confirm
