The Learning Technology Technician is responsible for maintenance and support of the AV and associated equipment installed in classrooms, computer labs and other presentation spaces on all Sacred Heart campuses as assigned by their supervisor(s). The Learning Technology Technician will also act as shift leader to work studies while on shift. (work independently for small projects).
Students are required to work 15 hours per week during fall and spring semesters. Up to 35 hours per week during winter, spring and summer breaks. After-hours and weekend availability may be necessary to meet project schedules. The role involves a blend of office and on-site tasks, including equipment configuration.
To manage the day to day operation of the AV Checkout office, work with full time staff to supervise the student employees and assist with the project management duties within the Audio Visual area. As well as provide technical support for installed Audio Visual technology.
Working after hours and during the weekend to complete assigned tasks may be required.
