This article outlines the Slate components that make up the 'Find My Counselor' Slate portal for Admissions. The direct link to the portal is https://apply2.sacredheart.edu/portal/findmycounselor. The admissions counselor data such as name, email, phone, location is being collected in a dataset called Admissions Counselor
The data entered for the Admissions Counselor dataset record controls most of the information that gets displayed on the left side of the counselor record on the portal:
Clicking the add New Record button brings you to the following Slate form to fill out the admissions counselor info. https://apply2.sacredheart.edu/manage/form/form?id=666448b3-869a-4981-87d8-faf4b8b8e9ca Attached to the admissions counselor dataset record is an entity called Prospect Assignment. Prospect Assignments control the behavior of the counselor filter on the portal. Adding a new prospect assignment brings you to form https://apply2.sacredheart.edu/manage/form/form?id=d1060444-bea8-4c6e-82b9-a148b0395c3a. When adding a new prospect assignment, the assignment should be set to broadest coverage needed per record. For example if a counselor covers an entire Student Type only enter in a student type. If the counselor covers an entire state then select the Student Type and State. The Special Coverage note can be used to specify any special coverage scenarios the counselor may be responsible for and it will display on their portal record. There are several rules configured under the Admissions Counselor folder that sets a unique key for each entry added to either the Admissions Counselor Dataset or the Prospect Assignment Entity.
