Launch Echo360 Universal Capture from your computer and click to Login.
Enter your Sacred Heart e-mail address. The application will verify your information.
Select the "untitled" or pencil in the top left corner to open the capture details.
Enter a title.
Enter a description.
Select the location you would like to publish your recording to. If no location is selected, it will publish to your library by default. You can send the recording to the following locations:
Directly to a course for students to view.
To your library where you can later link it to a course, or course activity such as a discussion board.
Select Save.
Select your audio source - this is the microphone you plan to use.
Select your desired sources. You have the option for two sources, this could be your webcam and screen, however if you are only using one source, you can select 'No Input' for the second source.
Select the record button.
If you selected your screen as a source, Echo360 will minimize and begin recording. If you did not select your screen as a source, and only are recording with your camera, the preview of the recording will remain and you will have the choice to display it or minimize it while you record.
When you are done recording, select the application at the bottom of the screen and select stop if your application is minimized. If it was not minimized, select the stop icon on the screen.
Wait for the upload to finish and select the link to open the video in your library.
