Freshmen schedules are printed in batch once a year prior to Freshmen Orientation.  This process will explain how to print a group of student schedules in batch.

 

Printing Student Schedules in Batch

  1. Create a savedlist of student ID numbers.  For instructions on how to create a savedlist, refer to this article:  How to Create a Savedlist Using SLED and SLCR in Colleague
  2. Enter the mnemonic SCHD in the Form Search to go to the Student Schedule Print screen
  3. Change any of the default options at the top if you do not wish to include Waitlisted courses, or if you want to change the sort order, exclude printed comments or break on term
  4. Enter the savedlist you created in step 1 in the Saved List Name field
  5. Enter the term you are printing schedules for in the Terms field
  6. Click Save and Update
  7. At the next screen under Output Device, choose H for Hold/Browse File Output and click Save and Update again
  8. At the Job Description screen, leave Execute in Background mode? set to No and click Save and Update again
  9. When the schedule print comes up in the Report Browser, click Export PDF
  10. In the Formatting Options, choose Courier for the Font, 10 for the Font Size, Portrait for the Orientation and Letter for the Paper Size
  11. Click Create PDF and then click Download
  12. In the upper right hand of the browser click the recent download history and click on the newest file to open (if there is more than one newest should be at the top of the list)
  13. The schedules should open in a PDF and be sure everything appears to be formatted and in alignment so the report is readable
  14. Click the print icon button in the upper right and choose the printer you want to print the schedules to in the Destination box then click the Print button at the bottom
  15. Close out the PDF, then click Close at the Ellucian Colleague - Open/Save File pop up window
  16. Click X to close the Report Browser
