What to check if you know you have maintenance access to a screen but it's coming up inquiry only.

Troubleshooting access to a Colleague screen

  1. Check the screen for maintenance access.  If the screen is all in yellow, it's inquiry only, if there are fields appearing in white, those fields are maintainable.
  2. If you know you should have maintenance access, check to see if you have detailed in from another screen.
    • For example, you may have inquiry only access to the SPRO - Student Profile screen.  If you detail in to the PERC - Person Restrictions screen, that screen will appear as inquiry only.
  3. Close out of all screens and go directly to the screen you know you have access to maintaining and it should appear with fields in white.
  4. If going directly to the screen does not resolve the maintenance access, you may have inquiry only and will need to submit a request by following the steps in the following article: How Do I Request Access to Colleague?
