How to Log in to and Log out of Collegue

Follow the steps below to log in to and out of Colleague.

Logging In

1. Start a Secure Desktop Session by visiting securedesk.sacredheart.edu
   1. View detailed instructions on installing and using a secure desktop session
2. Launch the desktop Sacred Heart Desktop 11
3. From within the Secure Desktop session, click the appropriate Colleague UI shortcut on the desktop
   1. Colleague UI Production
   2. Colleague Clone 2026 Test
4. Use your network username and password to log into Colleague
    

Logging Out

1. Logging out of Secure Desktop does not automatically log you out of Colleague.  Before you log out of Secure Desktop each evening, make sure that you log out of Colleague first.  To properly log out of Colleague, click the "Log Out" button in the top-right corner of the window.
2. Next, you can safely log out of the Secure Desktop, knowing that all systems were closed out properly.  To log out of Secure Desktop properly, click the window icon on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Then click on the user icon and select "Sign out". 
3. NOTE: Do not click on the X at the top of your screen; this keeps your session connected.
