The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (RSP) supports and promotes the research, scholarly, and creative activities of faculty, staff, and students. RSP serves as the central administrative unit responsible for pre-award and post-award services related to externally funded research and sponsored projects.

Key responsibilities of the office include:

  • Assisting with the identification of funding opportunities.
  • Supporting proposal development and ensuring compliance with institutional, sponsor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing, approving, and submitting grant applications on behalf of the institution.
  • Negotiating and managing sponsored project awards and contracts.
  • Providing guidance on budget preparation, allowable costs, and reporting requirements.
  • Offering training and resources to enhance research capacity and integrity.

RSP acts as a liaison between investigators and external sponsors to facilitate high-quality, compliant, and impactful research and sponsored activities that advance the mission of the institution.
