How to run Batch Update Anticipated Completion Date

This article explains how to run BUCD to batch update the anticipated completion date for student academic programs.  To be used by the Registrar's Office.

Running BUCD to update anticipated completion date

  1. Log in to Colleague and enter the BUCD mnemonic in the Form Search box.
  2. Run with Update Mode = N initially. This is critical if not using a saved list or entering individual students.
  3. Enter the new anticipated graduation date to be applied to all the student programs.
  4. Enter the saved list or enter students one by one.  If using a saved list, the format must be the key to student programs which is <student ID>*<academic program> (for example: 0675577*BS.FN)
  5. Save and update to allow process to run. A CSV file is created to review.
  6. If results are as expected, run BUCD again setting Update Mode = Y.
  7. If desired, double check several students from the saved list to verify accurate process completion.
