How to Defer Applicants to a New Term in Colleague

When an applicant defers their admission to a new term after they have been admitted, follow these steps to code them properly . 

Deferring Applicants to a New Term

  1. On the APPN (Applications) screen, click on the magnifying glass near the Appl Stat field which shows the latest Application Status
  2. The APSH (Application Status History) screen will be displayed
  3. Add a new status of WD (Withdrawn) and the Withdraw date, which should be after the MS (Moved to Students) date and Save
  4. Then create a new application for the new term
