How to Check Login Issues in Colleague

If you are not able to log into Colleague (UI), here are some possible issues to check and clear.

Issues to Check Before Contacting IT

  1. ​Have you been trained on how to use Colleague?  Your account is disabled until you attend training.  During training, your account is enabled.  If you need to schedule training, contact Lori-Jo McEwan.
  2. Do you have an unsupported character in your password?  Check the password policy. If you do, it will actually cause a problem.  Reset your network password and do not include the unsupported characters.
  3. Are you trying to log into Colleague (UI) production?  There is also an icon on your Secure Desktop for Colleague (UI) test.  Confirm you are choosing the correct icon.
  4. Which web browser are you using?  Try a different one. Google Chrome is the preferred browser. 
  5. Do you have two sessions already active? Users are limited to two sessions. If you had already signed on, the window may have been minimized. Check the task bar for any minimized sessions.
