Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Description

The Virtual Private Network (VPN) plays a crucial role in providing a secure and seamless digital environment for the SHU community. The VPN establishes a private and encrypted connection over the internet, allowing members of the University to access resources and collaborate remotely with confidence. The VPN ensures secure remote access to the Sacred Heart network. As members of our community increasingly engage in online learning, research, and administrative tasks from various locations, the need for a reliable and secure connection becomes paramount. The VPN encrypts data transmitted between the user's device and the university's network, protecting sensitive information from potential cyber threats and unauthorized access. There are various applications that will require the VPN for access and use.
