A user may request a change to their display name and username when:
- The last name has changed due to marital status changes (married, divorced).
- First or last name were legally changed in legal documents for other reasons.
- Any part of the name was misspelled and needs to be corrected.
Note: You must ensure that the legal name is updated with the appropriate office (HR or Registrar) before requesting the change to your username and display names. See this article to ensure you complete this step first.
