Student Planning and Advising (SPA) by Ellucian is used to help advisors and students plan academic pathways, select appropriate courses, and provide advising support. Find instructions for specific tasks in the Related Articles section on the right.
How to Access
Who is eligible?
Active students (incoming and returning), staff, faculty, and adjuncts.
How do I access it?
Access is available using mySHU or directly at this site: SPA, with single sign-on for SHU users. You will be prompted to enter your SHU username (not your full email address; do not include @sacredheart.edu or @mail.sacredheart.edu). Once correctly entered, you will be brought directly to SPA.
If you do not know your user name, click the "Forgot your user name?" link on the sign-on page to recover it. If the link is not displayed, press the refresh icon in the web browser.
You will be required to enter the following information, which must match the information in SHU's system of record.
- First Name (optional)
- Last Name (required)
- SHU Email Address (required)
Once the information is verified, the following will be displayed.
An email will be sent to your SHU email address entered above with your user name.
