How to View Projects in the IT Client Portal

A TeamDynamix Project is a structured initiative managed within the TeamDynamix platform, involving tasks, resources, and timelines to manage IT Projects. Projects can be viewed in the IT Client Portal by project requestors, stakeholders, or other participants.

Find a Project

  • From the Client Portal Home page, make sure you are signed in (your name should appear on the top right)
  • Click on the Projects tab in the header bar. 
  • This will take you to the Projects page, which displays approved and active Projects.
  • You can search/filter Projects at the top of the page.
  • Projects can be displayed in two formats: Tiles or Grid, by selecting the appropriate link below the search bar.
  • Each Project displayed will list:
    • Project Name
    • Percent Complete
    • Status
    • Health
      • Blue Dash = None
      • Green Square = Good Standing
      • Yellow Triangle= Warning
      • Red Circle = At Risk
      • Grey Pause = On Hold
    • Manager(s)
      • Clicking on the user's hyperlinked name will open their Profile page.
    • Start/End Dates
    • Project Type

View Project Details

From the Projects page, click on the hyperlinked Project Name to open its details. Project Details contains various information:

  • Project Name
  • Project ID
  • Summary Status - percent complete and Health color
  • Status - timeline, percent complete, Health, status, and updates
  • Details - start/end dates, Account/Department, Project Type, Health, Priority, and created and modified dates
  • Manager - responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of a project, ensuring it meets its objectives within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Alternate Manager(s)
  • Sponsor - a senior executive/leader who champions and oversees a project's objectives, providing support, resources, and guidance to ensure its success.
  • Stakeholders - individuals with an interest, involvement, or influence in a project's outcomes, activities, or decisions.
