How to Add or Update Phone Numbers in Colleague

In order to maintain history, phone numbers should not be deleted.

Adding a Phone Number

  1. In Colleague, go to NAE (Name and Address Entry)
  2. Put the cursor in the Phone/Ext/Type/Txt field
  3. Use the arrows to go to the last page where the row is blank
  4. Enter phone number in first box
  5. Select phone type from drop-down in third box
  6. Click Save and then Update

Replacing a Phone Number

If a phone number is truly incorrect (invalid, originally entered with a typo), then follow steps to update it:

  1. In Colleague, go to NAE (Name and Address Entry)
  2. Put the cursor in the Phone/Ext/Type/Txt field
  3. Use the arrows to go to the record with the phone number that needs to be updated
  4. Enter correct phone number in first box
  5. Click Save and then Update
