What to Check if Financial Aid Awards Do Not Post to Student Receivable

Financial Aid awards are imported from PowerFAIDS to Colleague daily.  There is a process in the Accounts Receivable module of Colleague that needs to be run manually to select awards to post to student receivables.  If an award does not get selected to post to a student's record, please check the following:

  • Is the student registered for the term you are trying to post the award for (REG STATUS = P, R or T)
  • Does the student have an active student program that the term falls within (check on the SACP screen)

If you answered NO to any of the above, then that item needs to be resolved so it is answered as YES before the award will post to the Student Receivable. 

If you answered YES to all of the above, then you should open a ticket with our IT Call Center and have it assigned to your Level 2 Support to look into it further (in the ticket you should include the student name, ID number, award code, and term that is not posting).
