How to Login and Logout in Colleague

Logging In

  1. Start a Secure Desktop Session by visiting securedesk.sacredheart.edu.  Launch the desktop Sacred Heart Desktop 10.
  2. From within the Secure Desktop session, click the Colleague UI shortcut on the desktop
  3. Click the URL link for the appropriate environment (should be production, unless you need to work in the test environment, if so then click the tab for the correct one)
  4. On the next window, click the "Click here to launch UI ..."
  5. Use your network username and password to log into Colleague

Logging Out

  1. Logging out of Secure Desktop does not automatically log you out of Colleague.  Before you log out of Secure Desktop each evening, make sure that you logged out of Colleague first.  To properly log out of Colleague, click on the "Log Out" button on the top right of the window.
  2. Next, you can safely log out of the Secure Desktop and know that all systems were closed out properly.  To log out of Secure Desktop properly, please click the window icon on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Then click on the user icon and select "Sign out".  Do not click on the X at the top of your screen.
